I always hear things like how 1% of the world’s population owns 99% of the wealth (or something like that). This leads me to wonder what would happen if the other 99% of us were to reconsider what constitutes wealth. If we all decided that pebbles would be the new currency, for example, what good would the money owned by the 1% be to them?
Whoever could run outside and gather up the most pebbles would then be the richest among us.
