My First Recording Using My Korg X50

This is the very first recording I made after I got my Korg X50 Keyboard. I used Cakewalk Sonar 7.0 Producer software for recording and mixing and also Dimension Pro soft-synth software for some sound effects. I think it’s kinda pretty and relaxing. Please take a listen by clicking on the link below and let me know what you think. Thanks! “M”

If you even “kinda” like this, then check out my entire first “album”.

Hi I just bought a Korg X50 and was trying to record on Sonar Production but was unable to assign the individual musical instruments from the X50 to individual tracks on Sonar. Could you possibly tell me how you were able to do that? Appreciate your help.

    1. Hi Elvis. I’m so very sorry that it’s taken me so long to reply to your question. Please go to https://nakedonastrangeplanet.com/2010/08/12/korg-x-50-instrument-definition-file/ for the Korg x-50 instrument definition file. Just copy and paste it into Sonar (follow Sonar instructions for adding instrument definition files). Sorry I can’t be more instructive – it’s been quite a long while since I’ve worked with Sonar and no longer have the Korg X50. Hope that helps and hope that you will view this reply even though it’s been such a long time since you posted your question.
