I have friends visiting for the weekend, but am still intent on sticking with my plan. The plan is so easy and satisfying that it’s not really a problem at all. For our dinner, in addition to the chicken and salad, I also made some red potatoes with green beans but I abstained due to potatoes being off of my list. My guests were satisfied and so was I.
My biggest occasion for overeating and eating ‘o the junk food was when it came time to sit down in front of the TV and watch movies. Not anymore! I am now very satisfied with a couple of slices of Pepperoni and a dark chocolate square or two. I used to eat bag after bag of barbecue chips, cookies, ice cream, etc., etc., but not anymore – and I can honestly say that I don’t miss the junk food at all. I also don’t miss the heartburn and indigestion that I would go to bed with every night either!
